Conceptual neighborhood takes shape around new arena, with some homes built around 'Pirate Pond' (Crookston Daily Times)

The Crookston City Council Tuesday evening approved an agreement with the state to access the $10 million in bonding dollars awarded to the city's arena project, and also approved calling for bids on the current design, which will be opened Sept. 16 in advance of site and infrastructure work that will commence this fall.
